Dinner Presentation: 6:00 PM Topic: Being Ethical in Tough Times Speakers: Carla Lallatin, C.P.M., CPPO, President, Lallatin & Associates, and Martin Delahay, MCIPS, Vice President, Strategic Sourcing & Facilities, American Management Association Ever vigilant when it comes to ensuring ethical supply management decisions, purchasers and other supply management professionals lead their organizations through a maze of ethical dilemmas on an almost daily basis. Lallatin, C.P.M., CPPO is President of Lallatin & Associates, specialists in supply management. She has conducted seminars throughout North America and has experience in all phases of purchasing, including as chief purchasing official for D&B's BidNet, United Computing, the City of New York and the State of Wyoming. Immediate past chair of ISM's Ethical Standards Committee, Ms. Lallatin has served on the National Association of State Purchasing Officials, and the NIGP Board of Directors. She was named Woman of the Year by the American Business Women's Association. Ms. Lallatin served on the NYC Procurement Policy Board and as adjunct faculty at New York University. She is a past President of NAPM-New York and received the 1995 District VIII Erlicher Award. She holds a B.A. from the University of Missouri. Martin Delahay, MCIPS was born and brought up in the U.K and following graduation joined Cunard Line, one of the world's leading shipping companies and a Division of Trafalgar House PLC. During his career with them he was based in Puerto Rico, Japan and the US, leaving in 1990. Subsequently, he managed the Sears Roebuck operation in the UK and then was a Supply Chain Consultant with ICR, a specialist supply chain consultancy based in New York. Since 2001 he has been Vice President, Strategic Sourcing & Facilities at the American Management Association, also based in New York. A past President of NAPM-New York, Mr. Delahay currently serves as Director of National Affairs and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (UK). He is married with two grown children, one of whom lives in Western Australia and has two grandchildren.
